Hunger and Homelessness in Toronto Symposium

Hey Everyone! The Trinity College Volunteer Society is hosting a very cool event that you might want to check out- see the details below!

The Trinity College Volunteer Society will be hosting a symposium called “Hunger and Homelessness in Toronto.” We will be bringing together students, professors, community members and frontline workers to facilitate discussion and learn about the aspects of these problems.

The discussion will take place at 6:00pm on March 18th in Seeley Hall which is located in Trinity College. Speakers will include the director of The Meal Exchange, Anita Abraham; the director of the Out of the Cold program for the homeless, Joyce Rankin; Canadian food insecurity researcher, Valerie Tarasuk, and Jacob Kearey-Moreland from the Toronto Seed Library.
From the increasing severity of homelessness to high rates of food insecurity, there’s a lot to discuss.
