The Urban Studies Student Union presents:

ENGAGING YOUTH: CIVIC LEADERSHIP IN TORONTO

Interested in learning more about how you can get involved with civic affairs and urban issues in Toronto? Drop by the Innis Events Room on Wednesday, March 11th between 6 pm to 8pm to learn about how you can become a young leader within your own community — whether it’s on campus, in your neighbourhood, or the GTA.

You’ll have the opportunity to hear about how you can get involved from recent mayoral candidate Morgan Baskin, Amanda Armstrong from Youth Challenge International, Eli Shields from Unimkt, Marcin Kedzior from SITUATE | DESIGN | BUILD and the Daniels Faculty of Architecture. Additionally, other members from youth-focused organizations will be in attendance to engage with students. Stay tuned to this page to hear more about our panelists and organization partners!

The event is free and light refreshments will be served! Students from programs besides Urban Studies are encouraged to attend.
