It’s time for us to talk about our city.
October 27, 2014 is election day in the City of Toronto. The Toronto Vital Signs Report is released annually by the Toronto Foundation to assess the quality of life in Toronto and to identify opportunities for improvement. Let’s Talk Toronto will be an opportunity to bring together students and Toronto leaders to discuss the findings of the 2014 Report, released on October 7th, and the state Toronto is in. Students will have an opportunity to pick up a copy of the Report and interact with the keynote speaker and panelists. The keynote speaker will be Rahul K. Bhardwaj, President & CEO of the Toronto Foundation, and panelists will include Susan McIsaac, the CEO of United Way, and Professor Shauna Brail from the Department of Urban Studies. This discussion will be moderated by Professor Anthony Careless from the Department of Political Science.
